When we talk about the most popular football clubs in the world, certainly Real Madrid and Barcelona, they include. Its been several years since they have been the two richest football club in the world.

According to recent surveys Spanish duo Real Madrid and Barcelona has enjoyed massive hike in popularity since 2005, they slowly overtook Manchester United not only as the richest clubs but also closed the gap in terms of general popularity around the world.

No wonder if they have huge fan bases with supporters from all corners of the world, including a number of celebrities from the showbiz world.

Who are they?

Real Madrid

1. Jennifer Lopez

In October 2012, she was spotted wearing Real Madrid white jersey while in the Spanish capital for a concert.

2. Rafael Nadal

Nadal is a proud Madridista and after, winning the US Open in 2010 to complete his career Grand Slam, he was paraded on the Bernabeu pitch before Real's Champions League clash with Ajax.

3. Sonakshi Sinha, Anil Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan

The Spanish capital will host the 17th edition of the Indian Film Academy Awards on 24th - 26th June. Bollywood star, Sonakshi Sinha, Anil Kapoor, and Hrithik Roshan, visited Madrid and took the opportunity to go to the Santiago Bernabéu.

4. Tom Cruise

He was seen at the Bernabeu in 2007 sitting next to Victoria Beckham, watching David Beckham in action for Real Madrid.

Barcelona

1. Justin Bieber

He was the centre of attention when he took part in a Barcelona training session in 2011 as fans waited in the Catalan city to get a glimpse of the pop star.

2. Shakira

She has been in a relationship with Barcelona defender Gerard Pique since 2010. Shakira is a regular at the Nou Camp to watch Pique in action.

3. Kobe Bryant

The Lakers star appeared on the front of ‘ESPN - The Fan Issue’ in 2009 wearing a Barcelona strip with the accompanying headline ‘Kobe loves Barcelona!’.

4. Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir is the Bollywood star, he has been to many Barcelona games, including the Champions League final against Manchester United at Wembley in 2011 and an El Clasico showdown in September 2012.

5. Magic Johnson

Johnson (part of the Los Angeles Lakers team) visited the Nou Camp in 2012 to watch an El Clasico contest, and was clearly happy to be there
