Man United defender Smalling tied the knot with Sam Cooke in an idyllic ceremony on Lake Como, Italy on Wednesday. Manchester United players and their WAGs flocked to Lake Como, Italy, for attending the wedding ceremony of Chris Smalling and his long-time partner Sam Cooke.

After watching from the stands the match between Man Utd over Everton (1-0), United Star Rooney went to Victor's Restaurant in Hale Village, Cheshire to celebrate his wife Coleen's 30th birthday party.

The party was celebrated by him with his team-mates past and present including Chris Smalling, Michael Carrick, and former United players Darren Fletcher, Jonny Evans, John O'Shea, Wes Brown and Darron Gibson, also United WAGs, including Lingard's girlfriend Emma Hyde Smalling's fiancee Sam Cooke, and singer James Bay.

They surprised 5 lucky fans in a special advert for Japanese company Nissin.

Rooney, Mata, and Carrick left phones in the Manchester town centre and invited the people who received their phone calls to the training ground.

Then, the 5 lucky fans were given tickets to Old Trafford to watch Manchester United.
