On Tuesday Vardy was spotted driving his blue Bentley Continental GT as he drove away from training on Tuesday afternoon.

He gave a smile as he made his way from the East Midlands base and signed autographs for fans upon leaving in his Bentley Continental GT which was understood to have been bought for £168,000.

Red flares were going off as thousands crowded the streets in a bid to fire up their players just over an hour ahead of kick-off.

Signed last summer from the Bundesliga, Brazilian attacking midfielder Roberto Firmino took a video from inside the team bus and posted it on his Snapchat story.

Trailing two nil from the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Wolfsburg, Real Madrid asked their fans to be at their most supportive for the home leg at the Bernabeu.

Sure enough, when the team bus rolled up to the Bernabeu the Madrid players were met by an army of loyal supporters welcoming them for the challenge ahead with pyrotechnics and police on horseback adding to the epic atmosphere.

Roma fan from Sweden Thomas Jonsson had a huge image of the striker in front of Rome’s Colosseum tattooed on his back.

“It’s a celebration to our captain and our leader, his loyalty and just being the King of Rome,” Thomas Jonsson told Roma’s official website.

“I’ve been a Roma fan since I was six-years-old. The tattoo was a gift from my wife – it was something I wanted to do for so many years.”

“It’s possible that I might get one or two more Roma related tattoos, maybe something next year after we win the Scudetto!”

The making of Jonsson’s tattoo took an excruciating nine hours, but another three hours of work are required to finish the piece.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of 8-year-old Chelsea fan Tommi Miller.

Tommi recently passed away after a battle with leukaemia.

In the aftermath, the Cambridge News have reported that Chelsea captain John Terry has offered to pay for the funeral costs of the Chelsea fan.

Speaking to the local paper, John Terry relayed the following message:

Having had the pleasure of meeting Tommi at a Chelsea game I was totally devastated to hear of him passing away.

I’m sure his family and friends will give him the send off he deserves.

The Cambridge News reported that Terry has agreed to cover costs of £1,600 “after being contacted by friends of the family on social media.”
