John Terry Offerred to Pay for the Funeral of an 8-Year-Old Fan

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of 8-year-old Chelsea fan Tommi Miller.

Tommi recently passed away after a battle with leukaemia.

In the aftermath, the Cambridge News have reported that Chelsea captain John Terry has offered to pay for the funeral costs of the Chelsea fan.



Speaking to the local paper, John Terry relayed the following message:

Having had the pleasure of meeting Tommi at a Chelsea game I was totally devastated to hear of him passing away.

I’m sure his family and friends will give him the send off he deserves.

The Cambridge News reported that Terry has agreed to cover costs of £1,600 “after being contacted by friends of the family on social media.”
